~~ BREAKING NEWS ~~
The Lower Colorado River Authority has applied to Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District for a mega-export permit in the Simsboro Aquifer in Bastrop County ~ over 200 concerned citizens plus elected officials attended our back-to-back meetings on July 17. Go to "News" and stay tuned for more information.
Meanwhile, Lost Pines GCD and End Op (aka "Recharge") are still fighting local landowners -- they are appealing, in the Third Court of Appeals (Austin), a ruling by Bastrop State District Court Judge Carson Campbell in favor of our landowners who are trying to protect their groundwater rights.
This is a critical court battle that is being talked about all over Texas and at the Legislature.

Every permit application to export our groundwater is an opportunity to protect our local communities that might never come again!
